V. Bindi & B. Kramer WHY KATZ? Interview with Katz’ author, in X. Löwenthal, I. Manouach, Collective METAKATZ.
Katz, a detournement of Maus, has opened to a new interpretation of Art Spiegelman‘s work, basically by changing every animal-faced character into a cat-faced one.
Then, as Spiegelman published MetaMaus, METAKATZ was realised as a collective essai about copyright and his exceptions, like detournement, collage and sampling.
FORMELLO AND HIS MERIDIAN SUNDIAL, illustration in M. Catamo LA MERIDIANA DI FORMELLO
While in Italy there are about 13.000 sundials of many kinds (mostly on walls), sundials such as the one in Formello are relatively rare. In Lazio we just have two: one in Santa Maria degli Angeli, in Rome, and now the recently restored one in Formello’s San Lorenzo Martire’s Church.
An historical and scientific essai.

TRUDE RABBIT is a post-victorian, neo-psychedelic trip of a zoomorphic Alice. Rolling out her fragmented visions Trude recomposes them through the [looking] glasses of a WhiteRabbit affected by a multiple personality disorder.
Along the pages images match one to the other for a total of six meters in length. The book is a cut-up work, that leads an eight meters roll drawn with no stop into the tale’s dimension.
